The VRSJ sheath spreader is designed for mechanically twisting the outer sheath of high-voltage cables out of position. The tool has a well-balanced weight and length, allowing controlled twisting without excessive physical strain.

A sufficiently long lever arm facilitates efficient operation, while the rubber-coated handle provides a secure grip and improved working comfort. Sheath spreaders are particularly suited for applications where the cable sheath must be mechanically opened prior to jointing or termination work.

For optimal working efficiency, the use of two sheath spreaders is recommended.
