Vicera’s story was born from a practical need. The company’s founder and CEO, Jyri Ahola, is a trained electrician who, through his work, noticed that many products needed to make tasks easier, faster, and higher in quality were missing from the market.

This realization led to the founding of the company, with the goal of developing proprietary products that genuinely make work easier. Product design is driven by extensive hands-on experience, as Jyri believes the best results are achieved by developing products together with industry professionals. Early on, it also became clear that the company’s operations would expand into importing.

Tools and measuring instruments are now expected to deliver more than ever before-speed, accuracy, and safety, in other words, overall productivity. Vicera Oy has emerged as an industry trendsetter by bringing modern, practical solutions to the market that meet even the most demanding challenges.

Vicera’s revenue is currently growing at a rate of over 200%, and the trajectory continues upward. This growth is driven above all by the fact that companies in the energy sector are looking for partners who do not sell generic products, but genuinely solve real-world problems in the field.

The company’s success is based on long-term customer relationships, careful selection of partners, and continuous business development. Looking ahead, Vicera aims to strengthen its position in export markets as well – products have just been shipped to Japan, and discussions are underway with an importer for the U.S. market. At present, Vicera is investing strongly in both exports and imports.

A key part of our strategy is scalability and diversification – putting apples in more than one basket. In today’s market, it is risky to focus too narrowly on a single sector. If one sector experiences a major downturn, the entire business can suffer.
