Vicera’s Cable Sheath Spreader VRSJ is a tool for mechanically twisting and opening the outer sheath of high-voltage cables. It is used when the cable sheath needs to be opened in a controlled way before jointing or termination work.

The balanced structure and sufficiently long lever arm help reduce unnecessary strain during sheath opening. The rubber-coated handle provides a firm and comfortable grip. For controlled work, using two sheath spreaders is recommended.
