Vicera’s APU2.0 cable joint stand has been developed together with experienced cable jointers for the installation of medium- and high-voltage cable joints and terminations. It enables safer, more ergonomic, and more efficient working, helping installers achieve consistently high-quality results in demanding field conditions.

Each cable clamp on the APU2.0 is individually adjustable, with stepless lateral and tilt-angle adjustment. Cables can be securely clamped even when entering vertically from the ground. The stand offers an exceptionally wide height adjustment range, allowing installation as low as 20 cm from ground level and up to 145 cm.

The legs provide extensive adjustability and allow the stand to be configured as a three- or four-leg setup, making it suitable for almost all joint bays. The legs can be rotated 180 degrees, enabling placement directly over a cable trench. The clamps are designed to accommodate MV and HV cables with outer diameters from 18 to 90 mm.
