DuctiCut is a tool set developed for fast, controlled and safe opening of plastic pipes. DuctiCut enables even long openings to be made quickly and safely compared with conventional pipe opening methods.
The bearing-mounted DuctiCut safety cutter is designed to protect cables and optical fibres inside the pipe during cutting. The freely rotating safety collar prevents the cutting edge from coming into direct contact with the material inside the pipe, while correctly adjusted cutting depth minimizes the risk of damage.
The DuctiPeek pilot hole drilling set is used to make a controlled 32 mm starting hole in the pipe, providing an entry point for the DuctiCut cutter. Vicera supplies DuctiCut primarily as a complete tool set including a compatible DuctiCut cutting tool set, DuctiPeek pilot hole drilling set, universal safety cutter, safety cutter for PVC pipes and a plastic carrying case.
